No, not the season as much as I wish it were.  Summer is a lovely Sheltie girl I met last year at an agility trial.  She’s had a rough time early on being from a puppy mill where the adult dogs were tossed in a pen and left to feed on whatever they could.   The scars from her ordeal are still there.  When we first met, she was extremely shy, especially toward men.  I spent a bit of time getting to know her and got some nice images of her during her runs as well.

This past weekend, I ran into Summer at a trial again. She’s still a little skittish, but who wouldn’t be.  She did come up to me (there were some treats involved) and demonstrate her “touch” and “down” for me.  Her human is doing great things for Summer and it shows.
