<p>No, not the season as much as I wish it were.  Summer is a lovely Sheltie girl I met last year at an agility trial.  She&#8217;s had a rough time early on being from a puppy mill where the adult dogs were tossed in a pen and left to feed on whatever they could.   The scars from her ordeal are still there.  When we first met, she was extremely shy, especially toward men.  I spent a bit of time getting to know her and got some nice images of her during her runs as well.</p>
<p>This past weekend, I ran into Summer at a trial again. She&#8217;s still a little skittish, but who wouldn&#8217;t be.  She did come up to me (there were some treats involved) and demonstrate her &#8220;touch&#8221; and &#8220;down&#8221; for me.  Her human is doing great things for Summer and it shows.</p>
